My name is Jamie Millage, and the story for why I created the gymineer (and where I got the name) can be found right here in my first ever post.
The less enthralling point form version breaks down like this:
- I am a guy from Ontario who loves sports and being active
- I went to school in Virginia and BC and competed in track for both schools
- I wanted to find a new sport after graduating, and I was afraid that I might miss something amazing if I just stuck with the most common North American sports.
Now I am 25 years old and trying my hand at every sport I can get my hands on. If you have some suggestions for sports you’d like to learn more about, a sport you’d like to teach me about, or just any comments or tips, please leave a comment on one of my posts, or write to me at jamie@gymineer.com.

I checked out your site, pretty awesome!
Nicole
Thanks so much…
Hi Jamie,
Great meeting you the other night at Nick’s BBQ! Really enjoyed checking out your website! If you ever need some extra people to make up some numbers for any of your sports just give Peter and myself a shout!
I am trying to contact the Four Seasons Skiing and Snowboarding gym in Toronto that you wrote about a few years ago. Any idea how I can get in touch with them. I am working on a film abut winter for CBC and we are interested in some video of people using it.
Is the video on your blog available?
What format is it in?
Thanks
Terri Foxman
Hey Terri,
The link for Four Seasons is http://4seasonsskiing.com/snowboard-simulator-contact/. I know they did move, but I am not sure where to. I’ll send you an email with some more info.
